Classic Rock

It's been a busy spell.....

May 18th - N Wales climbing debut

And so to Wales.....
Arrived at the Chamois Hut after 3 hour drive by BP.  Offload and straight to Tremadog.  Queues for Christmas Curry so opted for Valeries Rib (HS) - BP up P1 and linked boldly with P2.

Back to hut for proper curry courtesy Mrs P, gathering and regrouping for tomorrow's Tryfan venture. 

Second Pinnacle Ridge 165m (570 feet) Vdiff 6 pitches.

Friday 20th dawned dull and windy.  Early foray into Cwm Idwal thwarted by gales and torrential rain.  Bailed back to the Chamois hut for brunch and bomb back home.

I've seen the future and it's in Wales

Stickling with it

Wednesday 4th May
After confab on options settled on Pavey Ark.  Been dry for weeks, so hopefully no drainage.

Mr P(ink) checks it all out.  Blimey.

 Peter thinking about Gwynne.

70 minutes in.  50 minutes out.

A Royality Tour

Woodman's Cottage at Thornthwaite Farm

Two good walks planned, varied and delivered, all options catered for.  Also short walk round the fell on Friday afternoon
Saturday; Up to Goat Water then high level team up C.O.M. then back via Swirl How. Lower team back via Bannistead quarry.
Sunday; Circular walk in the Duddon Valley;
