Scot Crags Social

23 March

As forecast the front moved through to leave a bit of a dry and hazy sun spell out east, another invitation to adjust to the outdooor game at the ever welcoming

Scot Crags, Scugdale

Plenty of teams already on the crag, some from York, others from south of Cambridge!  And a chap from nearby with his young lad.

Pretty cool from the off, a few quick easy solos got us going then onto a leading circuit as a hazy sun did its best to keep everyone warm enough.

Climbing by Numbers

27th February
One more day left of the megga high parked over the UK, a trip out west proves a big draw, given the early season conditions somewhere sunny and amenable the key criteria.  The options algorithm chugged away for three seconds and top of the list comes out as:

Upper Scout Crag

"A big reason boys join Scouting is to go climbing. They want to go. They need to go. They know that while they are climbing they are going to have some of the best times of their lives!"
Robert Baden-Powell quote (almost)
