Thursday - all day trip via Sweden to Drammen - diverted onto the Ferry as there was a fire in the tunnel.

BP gone roaming so three blokes and two ropes off west to invent something.

Abbing off top of P3 to save time, except for the minor detail of Newtonian levels of friction.

Upwardly mobile team take over and finish route in good order.

Crag Lux and other stories

Friday 10th June
West looking risky so stayed this side and cruised up into the County
NB debut at Crag Lough, beaten back from Spuggies Gully by a threatening pair of birds.

Retreated in good order, chicks left alone.
Followed by an adventurous three pitch ascent up
"Dexterity" 25m (S)
Heavens opened, rock turned to soap so abbed off pronto!




Soaked despite advanced equipment.

Unknown climbers on "Forest Face" Ravenscar
North Yorkshire with Mr Cleveland himself
Ravenscar (3 routes) and three more at Wainstones.

Classic Rock

It's been a busy spell.....

And so to Wales.....
Arrived at the Chamois Hut after 3 hour drive by BP.  Offload and straight to Tremadog.  Queues for Christmas Curry so opted for Valeries Rib (HS) - BP up P1 and linked boldly with P2.

Back to hut for proper curry courtesy Mrs P, gathering and regrouping for tomorrow's Tryfan venture.

Friday 20th dawned dull and windy.  Early foray into Cwm Idwal thwarted by gales and torrential rain.  Bailed back to the Chamois hut for brunch and bomb back home.

I've seen the future and it's in Wales
