Fabulous weather so out and about taking in the local scenes

Sunday - Auckland Castle and Deer Park

Only half an hour away and in all the years in NE England have never visited.  Lovely grouinds, pleasant walking.  Café flattered to deceive!

Monday 4th September - Train Trip to the Seaside!

Early morning Briar Moon

Mags mooted the much vaunted train to Saltburn.

10.55 from Darlington packed with kids and their minders, mostly grandparents!

Standing room only, but made it to the priority seats
